Small World, Big Challenge
WDM Scotland's annual conference focussed on the personal vs. the political, with debate and workshops from Joss Garman (PlaneStupid), Esther Stanford (anti-slavery campaigner) and Benedict Southworth (Director, WDM).
Malawi speaker tour
Mavuto Bamusi, the National Co-ordinator of the Human Rights Consultative Committee, visited WDM groups in Scotland and met with parliamentarians to champion justice, not pity in Scotland's dealings with Malawi. More info.

Edinburgh World Justice Festival
Events by over twenty Scottish campaigning groups and NGOs including workshops, screenings, speakers and debates. The festival kicked off with a World Music party featuring Septeto Típico de Tívoli all the way from Santiago de Cuba. www.ewjf.org.uk

Edinburgh Fringe Tap Water Awards
Success! WDM Scotland took part in the 2006 Tap Water Awards, set up as an ethical alternative to the Perrier Awards, and finally saw the Nestle-owned sponsor pull out of the Festival. Watch the website for more Taps in 2008.
