WDM is a member of the CORE coalition campaigning for better regulation of corporations. So far UK companies have resisted attempts to hold them accountable for their environmental and social impacts. Meanwhile, more than 15,000 corporate lobbyists are employed in Brussels to influence EU decision-making, with effect that politicians frequently put the interests of business before those of people and planet.
